Colle Isarco, where kings and emperors crossed throughout the middle ages, became a famous treatment centre at the beginning of last century.
Famous writers like Henrik Ibsen chose it as their vacation spot. It’s no coincidence that Colle Isarco has lots to offer: its natural wonderland is the ideal backdrop for excursions and hikes. There are also many commercial attractions, including the famous and highly patronised Brennero/Brenner Pass market.
The mountain region of Val di Fleres/Pflerschtal valley shows off all its genuine charm with numerous excursions and hikes ranging from an easy stroll to the most demanding high-mountain trails. The lift systems of the Ski resort of Ladurns climb to an altitude of 2,700 m, where climbers and hikers can tackle the Tribulaun and the Feuerstein glacier. Colle Isarco also offers a wide choice of sports activities including tennis, swimming, bowling or guided hikes in the mountain and on the glacier. In the winter, it’s a small paradise for winter sport lovers. Instead, art lovers can admire the chapel of S. Barbara and the Baroque parish church.
