The Valle Isarco is famous for its white wines. These wines, renowned for their subtle and fruity fragrance as well as their elegant and decisive body, come from the old cellar of the Novacella/Neustift Abbey, from the Valle Isarco growers' co-operative wineries at Chiusa/Klausen or from one of the area's wine producers. The cool nights and warm days plus the perfect valley breezes help to give the Valle Isarco wine a typically tart and dry taste with a full and robust body.
Good wine lovers can buy these premium bottles directly from the producers (two commercial wineries and various grower-winemakers in the area of Bressanone/Brixen, Varna/Vahrn, Novacella/Neustift and Velturno/Feldthurns) or in one of the wine-shops of Bressanone and Chiusa/Klausen. |
